About Our Service Dog Program

Pets and People

provides consumer-based service dog training. That means clients can use their own dog or a Pets and People-provided dog. It also means clients do their own training, often with guidance from Pets and People's training staff. Pets and People will help with dogs that mitigate any disability covered under the Americans with Disabilities Act. This means both physical and mental health disabilities are covered.

Some advantages to self-training a Service Dog:

All services are are provided ONLY to Pets and People members. Membership is an annual fee of $40 (US), and includes certification (not ADA-required), ID and advocacy.
